Minority, OBC and SC/ ST/ PWD Cell ~ GLS University

The university is dedicated to upholding a workplace where academics, staff, and students from various communities can collaborate in a cohesive setting. The University works hard to guarantee that there isn't any discrimination at work or on the Institute campus.

A liaison officer appointed by the university to oversee and also ensure equity and equal opportunity to every stakeholder of this university including the special groups like SC, ST, OBC (non-creamy layer), minorities, women, and physically challenged students and staff. He/She can be contacted if discriminatory incidents occur.

Objectives

To implement the reservation policy for OBC and SC/ ST/ PWDs in the Institute.
To take such follow-up measures for achieving the objectives and targets laid down for the purpose by the Government of India for reservation.
To implement, monitor, and evaluate continuously the reservation policy and plan measures for ensuring effective implementation of the policy and programme of the Government of India.
To inform minority students about the various state and federal scholarship programmes.
To find solutions for issues pertaining to these students.
