A guest lecture was conducted on “Cyber Crime & Social Media & IT (Boon or Curse)” by learned experts on 5TH August 2021. One of the experts was Dcp Amit Vasava, who is currently serving as DCP, Cyber Crime, Ahmedabad. Dcp Amit Vasava sir is IPS from the 2016 batch. He is also heading 24 x 7 helpline for cybercrime, called “Cyber Aswasth”. He guided students regarding various types of cyber frauds happening in the current environment. He also informed students regarding “Cyber Aswasth”, a 24 x 7 helpline for cybercrime and its benefits to citizens of India. The session was also accompanied by Mr Nikhil Patel, Convener (It Head), BJP Gujarat. He addressed students on the impact of social media on society and youth. He also advised students for utilizing Social Media in a progressive manner. The session was conducted online using the cisco Webex online platform.
