International conference on national education policy 2020

Faculty of Commerce organized a two days International Conference on NATIONAL EDUCATION POLICY 2020 on September 2 & 3, 2022. Shri Sudhir Nanavati, President, GLS University was the Chief Patron of the conference. The inauguration function was held on 2nd September, 2022 from 5 pm onwards in H H Auditorium, GLS campus. The educational partners of this conference were UCMTA, Shiksha Sanskruti Uthannyas and Gujarat Sahitya Academy. Three major areas for Discourse/ discussion and Paper presentations were closely related to NEP-2020 including sub- tracks viz.
1. NEP & Commerce, Management Programs
2. Promotion of Indian Language / Literature & Indian knowledge system
3. Governance & Capacity building of Teachers for quality education
The conference theme was based on multidisciplinary & Holistic education , Research & Development in field of Commerce / Management; Employability skills and technological advancement; Management in Performing Arts ; language & literature etc. Patrons for the conference included Ms Chandni Kapadia, Executive Director, GLSU, Dr B H Joshi, Provost GLSU, Dr Dharmesh Shah, Registrar GLS University. Convenors of the conference were Dr.Avani Shah, Director - FOC & Dean FOPA and Dr Jayendrasinh Jadav , member secretary Gujarat Sahitya Academy. The conference was a platform for various scholars, academicians and students to participate and contribute in policies framed by government regarding NEP 2020, their respective areas of research. The conference also consisted of a very experienced advisory committee which helped in providing vital knowledge regarding NEP-2020 as well as in designing and framing a well-managed system of imparting knowledge and research regarding the policies across national and international participants.
