As a part of academic programme, Faculty of Law allows students to undertake moot court presentations on a daily basis. This exercise imparts the practical skills of research, case analyses and strategy, witness handling, and presentation of arguments at the trial and appellate stages of a case. In the sessions, students argue on a hypothetical case in an artificial courtroom. Students prepare written submissions (memorials) and present the oral arguments in a moot court setting. Each student will prepare a case only on one side – Appellant or Respondent. As a part of an internal component, the presentations are evaluated and marked.
