Workshop on Communication Skills/Corporate Etiquette

Faculty of Computer Applications & IT - PG Programme organized workshop on Communication Skills/Corporate Etiquette from 1st August 2022 to 6th August 2022. The motive of the sessions were to sensitize students about Corporate Grooming, Workplace Behaviour, Body Language, Verbal Communication, Listening Skills, Time Management and Interpersonal Skills. The sessions were delivered by Ms. Surekha Talari - Educational & Research Consultant, NKB -Skill Build India Initiative, Ahmedabad.
A brief overview of all sessions conducted during workshop were:-Day 1 emphasized on communication as a soft skill, introduction to a denial letter, problem solving and critical thinking. The content of Day 2 were leadership, mock interviews, differentiating leadership and management. Day 3 focused on importance of empathy, deep listening, impact of good and bad powers, taking a positive attitude
towards a critical person. Day 4 emphasized on punctuality, handling work deadline, professionalism, solving real life problems through technology, contribution to the society through our education and multiculturalism. Day 5 focused on entrepreneur skills, capitalism, salary structure, team spirit. Motive of Day 6 were time management, prioritising work, break and meditation.
The workshop was well received with great enthusiasm and exercised by students of PG Programme.
