Dr. Avani Shah is a Director at Faculty of Commerce and Dean of Faculty of Performing Arts. She holds a PhD in English literature, a detailed study on comparative literature of various cultures and countries, higher education and Indian literature from Kadi University. She possesses teaching experience of more than 20 years. Dr. Shah is an able principal and a fine administrator. Her areas of research includes women empowerment, higher education and Indian literature, among others.
Dr. Shah is an excellent teacher and a great motivator for her students. She has a passion for students’ centric activities including fashion, dance, garba and music. She has successfully coordinated several major events in this field.
