Dr. Devyani A. Chatterji Assistant Professor -

Dr. Devyani Chatterji has around 22 years of academic experience. She is M.Sc. (Gold Medallist) in Statistics and has received her doctoral degree in “Mathematical Formulation of Inventory Systems for Deteriorating Items under Varying Demand Rates”. She has received I. M. Nanavati Best Research Paper Award for the research paper titled “An EOQ Model with Exponential Amelioration and Two Parametric Weibull Deterioration” on the I. M. Nanavati Research Day 2020 celebration organised by GLS University on 19th January 2020. Dr. Chatterji has strong academic presence in the field of Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analysis and Research Methodology. She has also provided her services as a resource person/subject expert at National Sample Survey, Ahmedabad and BISAG – A Satellite Communication Network Service to provide distant education which is a State Level Agency of Government of Gujarat. She has many State, National and International Presentations and Publications to her credit. She is actively involved in editing/writing books for graduate students. She is the Co-ordinator of Statistics Club, Research Group and Quiz Club. She has guided many students in preparing research projects.
