Dr. Nimisha Shah has more than 22 years of academic experience in the field of teaching Statistics and Mathematics to the students of various institutes of Science, Commerce and Arts streams. She has been working as an Assistant Professor and head at Faculty of Commerce in the subject of Statistics. She has been teaching in Faculty of Commerce since last 17 years. She has done her research on “Some Studies on Six Sigma and its Extensions for Quality Performance in Various Fields.” Which is the quality measurement to improve the quality performance in various fields. Dr. Nimisha has done her research especially in the field of education and presented around 7 papers and 2 papers published in well-known journals. She has authored more than 5 books. She has also delivered the lectures for ‘BISEG’ – an online project undertaken by Government of Gujarat to teach the students of Gujarat State. She has been also elected as a member of board of studies in the subject of statistics at Gujarat University. Dr. Nimisha Shah is also handling the various co- curriculum activities. She has been in charge for Garba, Folk Dance, Art activities, Statistics Club and many more. She is also a convener of CWDC.
