Dr. Shefali Dani is a doctorate in Economics with over 2 decades of qualitative experience in Higher Education. She is an academician at core with logical and critical thinking, ability to solve the problem quickly and efficiently, excellent communication skills and administrative gumption. Such personal traits have enabled her to lead not only Faculty of Business Administration, GLS University but also serve as Controller of Examinations, GLS University. Dr. Shefali Dani who being adept at curriculum designing, well versed in modern pedagogy and contemporary academic practices, endeavours to spur environment conducive to learning on Campus. She works in the direction of developing professional competencies among students. She adopts holistic approach to ensure that students have an edge over others in real life situation. In short, she strategizes the progress path of the department as well as students. Her repertoire also includes being a PhD Supervisor of GLS University.
Her subject expertise lies in Economic Theory, Financial System, Strategic Management, Ethics, Political Philosophy and Current Affairs. She had been a member of Board of Studies. She was Chair-person of the Gujarat University Syllabus Revision Committee under the Choice Based Credit System. She has been Coordinator of Gujarat University BBA examinations for the past few years.
She has presented a number of papers related to Financial Crisis in Asia, Europe and the US at several international and national level conferences. Her propensity for research is evident from the fact that she has mentored 7 students for their doctoral degree apart from penning down 25 research papers.
