Expert Session on "Resume Building"
As an acclaimed professional trainer and coach to corporates and educational institutes, Ms. Niyati Sheth has enhanced and transformed the life & behavioural skills of numerous working professionals across various industries. Her sheer drive and purpose is to make lives better for people, to inspire and motivate them, to turn their hidden and untapped potential into peak performance and to help them build winning teams. She has conceptualised, designed and delivered trainings, ensuring to blend the contemporary style of coaching with traditional techniques for many esteemed organisations across industry verticals.
The Session was attended by around 130 students online. The session started with imparting knowledge to the students about the importance of the professional resume for their career perspective. The session for highly interactive and the students participated by asking questions and clearing their doubts for resume creation. The session moved forward with the most important topic of the 10 common mistakes one should avoid during the resume creation. She showed the whole format of the resume with a practical real time resume. She also explained the importance of the video resume and the fast impact of that on the employers.

Expert Session on Preparing for Online Interview
As a part of Pre – Placement week, GLS FCT, GLS University organised a series of different expert sessions varying across diversified topics useful for the students in their placement process.
An expert session on “Preparing for Online Interviews” was organised on 11th August 2021. The session expert was Mr. Jay B. Trivedi. Mr. Jay holds an experience of more than 6 years and has been involved in many of recruitment interviews.
The session by Mr. Jay provided an insight to students on how to get themselves ready for online interview. He provided an in-depth knowledge on the interview process along with throwing light on critical aspects of interview like pre – interview preparation, getting information about the company, how to double check the working of resources like mic and speakers and others. He also guided the students on how to be confident, why to maintain good eye – contact, highlighting the achievements, talking about relative information and how to keep the answers short and sweet.
The session was found to be much interesting and interactive.

Expert Session on "Industry Etiquette during Internship"
Mr. Upendra singh zala is the foujnder of Kshatrainfotech pvt ltd. He started the session with the importance of etiquettes in professional life. He quoted that “etiquettes are nothing it is a protocol for living a better life”. Etiquettes is not about which language you speak or present yourself. It is about how you are presenting yourself in front of others which is not related to any of the language/medium. He also discussed that good etiquette included professional relationships, dressing, attendance, social skills, communication, and follow-ups. Mr. Zala also discussed with students about what is the importance of business etiquette. Etiquette is all about how you respond to others for their queries and problems. It is necessary to act professionally and exercise proper manners when engaging with others. He also states that the etiquettes are not only limited to the workplace. They are always with you wherever you go. Etiquettes are one of the most important aspects of our life i.e. professional and personal life. He also discussed the efforts which are impactful to build a bond with colleagues and supervisors. You have to understand the preferences and types of your supervisor also for better communication, you should present yourself that you are open for the communication, and then only you will be able to present yourself in the organization. At last, he discussed the email etiquettes. How it is important for e-communication and represents yourself in the organization. He said that email etiquettes are very important, as it is the most preferable way of communication which we use in the organization, which are can be treated as an official purpose also. Later he discussed cell phone etiquette and answer the queries of the asked question by students.

Expert Session on "Emerging Technologies"
Mr. Pratik Jain is a serial entrepreneur with more than 15 years of comprehensive experience in various domains. He believes that entrepreneurs never lose - they either earn money or they earn knowledge. Currently, he is a director at GlobalVox, which is headquartered in the USA.
He started the communication with students by giving them an understanding of the multiple technologies and their importance. He discussed Blockchain, AI and Machine Learning, IoT, Hologram, and Quantum Computing. Initially, the session was into one-to-one communication and he tried to discuss the view of students on emerging technologies. He also discussed the differences between Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality by using the applications of both. Mr. Pratik Jain also discussed RPA i.e. robot process automation and its applications. He stated that “Time is Money” and everyone should build software in such a way that can save time. Blockchain is also a booming technology that is going to change the world. He stated that “Blockchain is the extremely emerging and hot technology where the demands of the blockchain developer are rapidly increasing”. Mr. Pratik also gives his views on Quantum computing and the applications of computing. He also discussed the need for Quantum computing and the Red Ocean v/s Blue Ocean Strategy. Elon musk is the person who always invested in the Blue Ocean Strategy. At last, he discussed those technologies which are the need of future and students can make a career in your interesting one.

A Guest Session on Innovation and Technology Entrepreneurship
A Guest Session on “Innovation and Technology Entrepreneurship” was conducted on 23rd December 2021 at GLS (S.R Parikh) Institute of Computer Technology, GLS University. The session was conducted by Ms. Meena Shah. The session was coordinated by Dr. Prerna Agrawal and attended by 120 students.
Meena Shah is a co-founder & CTO of iView Labs and Founder of Creative Problem Solving Community and meetups. She has been in the IT industry for 16 years and has worked with Enterprises, Startups & Founders to understand and build their digital software products to make them investment-ready & customers ready. She had also started a meetup group as “Creative Problem Solvers" in Dec 2018 with the purpose as to have an open think tank to solve social problems, business problems, and ecosystem problems. She loves technology, new ideas, new perspectives, thoughts, and problem-solving and is a voracious reader.
The session was mainly emphasized on Business Opportunity in Entrepreneurship. There are main 3 key elements in Entrepreneurship. They are: Yourself, Feasible and Viable Enterprise, Entrepreneur Environment. The Basic Requirement to identify the Business Opportunity are these 3 elements of Entrepreneurship. An Interactive session was conducted where students were asked questions and they answered it.

An Expert Session on “Communication Skills” was conducted on 8th December 2020 at GLS (S.R Parikh) Institute of Computer Technology, GLS University. The session was conducted by Mr. Praveen Bhaskar from Office Beacon. The session was coordinated by Ms. Prerna Agrawal and attended by 100 students.
The session was mainly emphasized on Market Opportunities in Block Chain. A block chain is a transaction database shared by all nodes participating in a system based on the Bitcoin protocol. A full copy of a currency's block chain contains every transaction ever executed in the currency. With this information, one can find out how much value belonged to each address at any point in history
